Tales of adventurer's antics get around! Especially if the party -- or some extremely notable bodies in the party -- has done some really spectacular (or gnarly) things!

Which means that given enough spectacular and gnarly things, dear adventurers, you might actually start to be recognized. Which can be good or bad! *lol*

* a small bit of Lindwyrmy rules for that *

Roll 2d6 (like a reaction check): 11-12 means the other body recognizes you/party as Those Adventurers!

Add +1 to the roll for each of the following --

- every three levels gained
- you rescued a notable individual
- splashed out a generous shitton of treasure-spending
- party created or sponsored something cool, impressive or awesome
- defeated a great and terrible foe
- treat hirelings well for several adventures in a row
- have a song created and sung about heroic exploits (+2!)

Of course, recognition can be good (free drinks at the pub!) or bad (the evil vizier knows you're the ones thwarting her plans) ...

... Which is why these can also be used to modify actual reaction rolls, if the GM wants. And if you want some negative modifiers for those same reaction rolls (because why not), try these --

- large and public failure
- reputation for callousness or unwarranted violence
- reputation for greed
- treat hirelings poorly
- threadbare or offputting appearance
- a mocking song has been being gleefully spread about
